Circa 1860 coin silver water pitcher by Kidney Cann & Johnson of New York, in a medallion motif, the globular body engraved and bright cut with three cartouches, two cartouches filled with large and prominent male and female medallions, the other cartouche engraved with 'M.M.RED' monogram, with applied handle that has animal head at top and paw at lower end, all on raised pedestal base. Weight 46 oz. Height to top of handle 13 1/2 inches. Marked Kidney, Cann & Johnson, KC&J.
