rare HANDMADE STERLING SILVER CANDLESTICKS / VASES Exceedingly rare pair of circa 1970 sterling silver candlesticks or vases by Allan Adler, of Los Angeles, CA, the motif in a tall tapered stick with leaves applied to the base and a ball between the base and a long, tapered extension. There is an insert that allows these superb Adler pieces to be used as candlesticks, or the inserts can be removed and the pair can be used as vases. Seller has never seen such a unique and utilitarian design by Adler--a design that Adler could only accomplish. Total weight of 36 oz. Dimensions 10 inches high by 4 1/4 inches base diameter by 2 7/8 inches diameter at very top. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo below. Price: $1,950.00 |
