RIVETED STRAPS BOX 1930 Rare circa 1930 sterling silver 'trunk' by Fred Davis, of Taxco, Mexico, the box in the form of a trunk with applied bands of silver which are riveted to the body, and other applied elements at each corner, with applied handles at the side to emphasize the illusion of a miniature trunk, and yet another decorative applied element at the clasp, the box resting on four (4) bun feet, one (1) at each corner of the box.
