Circa 1815 coin silver tea - coffee pot by Baldwin Gardiner, of Philadelphia, melon shaped, with engraved and chased leaves in lobes, the spout having the stature shape of a standing eagle, the upper rim with applied leaf decoration, the lid chased and engraved in leaf motif, the finial resembling a burning flame, with 'S' curve handle, all standing on a raised pedestal base.

Weight 42 oz. Dimensions 11 inches across handle and spout by 11 inches high. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo.
