BEAKER Being offered is a ca. 1835 coin silver beaker by John B. Jones & Co., active Boston, Mass. 1838; this maker was the precursor to Jones, Ball & Poor (1846) and later Jones, Shreve, Brown & Co. Inscribed "William Parker Coggeshall" - engraving very crisp, unlike blurriness of photo. Measures 3-1/4 inches high by 3 inches at upper rim diameter. Very good weight at 6 1/2 ozs. In excellent condition (pictures appear blurry though).
