Fine circa 1854 coin silver child's cup by Jones Ball & Co. of Boston, MASS, the bulbous lower body tapers towards the top rim, th entire body is chased and engraved in a motif of vines of clusters of grapes and leaves, with an applied 'S' handle, all resting on a raised pedestal base.

Weight 8 oz. Dimensions 4 1/2 inches diameter at top rim and over handle by 4 7/8 inches high. 'John Preston Arthur from J.P.' engraved monogram in cartouche. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. (What appears to be 'red' at top handle at rim is not rust, tarnish etc. but a reflection when taking the photo.)
