Fine circa 1950 sterling silver and malachite tray by Los Castillo of Taxco, Mexico, the footed tray has a well and two (2) 5/8 inch wide by 5 inches high inlaid strips of azurite. Weight 46 oz. VIRGIN MARY MIXED METALS
Rare circa 1979 sterling silver and other metals box by Los Castillo of Taxco, Mexico, the black background cymbidium (?), the robes of the Virgin Mary are silver, copper and turquoise, the serene Virgin Mary is praying and there is an emanating glow of brass around her. There are elements at the feet of the Virgin Mary, but seller does know these symbols. The box is lined with sabino wood and has a lid.
