Circa 1885 silverplate five (5) piece coffee/tea set by Meriden of Meriden, CT, in the Aesthetic motif, comprising coffee pot, tea pot, sugar bowl with cover, creamer and waste bowl, each piece hand engraved with leaves, peacocks, flowers, iwth female heads at top of legs just below actual pot, all with 'S' curved handles and on paw feet.

Dimensions: coffee pot 9 1/2 inches over handle and spout by 11 inches high; teapot 9 inches over handle and spout by 10 1/2 inches high; sugar bowl with cover 7 inches across handles by 8 1/2 inches high; creamer 6 inches across handle and spout by 6 inches high; waste bowl 4 1/2 inches diameter by 5 3/8 inches high. 'HHC' (?) monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo.
