Award winning silversmith, Ruth Rhoten, whose one-of-a-kind pieces are included in private and corporate collections has created 'Ancient One', a sculptural piece meant to be seen at all angles. It is spot hammered by hand. The hammer marks are each intentionally placed to reflect at different angles, allowing the imagination to explore. For example; when one encircles the piece you feel you are looking at a volcanic mountain, the other side of the sculpture a cavern-like form, something reminiscent of Stonehenge or a sculpture by Henry Moore amongst other sculptural forms.

The piece inspires a range of emotions and interpretations.

It is 16 inches tall by 8 inches wide by 5 inches deep. Ancient One weighs 38 ozs.

Award winning silversmith Ruth Rhoten has created a superb one-of-a-kind candelabra, 'Flight', a project that was in the works for four (4) years. Flight has pink tourmalines set into the rivets along the surface of the sheet of the wings of the candelabra. The rivets hold the sheet and forged wire under the sheet together, giving the piece strength as a bridge. The bridge also includes small vertical columns that join the pink tourmalines. forged wire, and sheet. The construction inspires the idea of flight. The central, round quartz crystal sphere has inclusions, that reflect rainbows in certain light.

The two candle holders or bobeche are removable. The edges of the 'wings' have an irregular form in several areas suggesting the wind blowing on the wings of a bird. 'Flight' transforms a silver construction into a soaring bird with wings spread.

'Flight' is 29 inches wide by 6 1/2 inches high to bottom of candle by 5 inches in diameter. The weight of silver is 64 ozs.
