Circa 1920 sterling silver plate by Herbert A. Taylor for Arthur Stone of Gardner, MASS, the 8 1/4 inch diameter plate, with 1 3/8 inch raised rim, with an applied and engraved circle and wave 1/4 inch border.

Herbert A. Taylor worked for Arthur Stone 1908-1937; Taylor also received the Society of Arts and Crafts Masters Medal in 1917. The award was created by the Massachusetts Council on the Arts and Humanities. Weight 17 oz. No monogram. Marked Stone with hammer mark, Sterling, T..

Circa 1918 sterling silver kettle on stand with burner by Arthur L. Hartwell for Arthur Stone of Gardner, MASS, masterfully made and of simple and elegant design.

The kettle stands 9 inches tall and 12 1/4 inches tall when on the stand. Total weight 57 oz. Monogram as illustrated. Marked as illustrated in photo (The mark indicated that Arthur L. Hartwell handmade this piece circa 1918.).
